Prepare for Perimenopause

It’s always better to be proactive than reactive when it comes to our health, and the same goes for preparing for perimenopause. Making healthy lifestyle changes before the onset of perimenopause can have significant benefits for us as women, both in the short and long term.

Here are a few reasons why:

      1. Easier transition: By making healthy lifestyle changes before perimenopause begins, women can ease into the transition much more smoothly. Lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, healthy eating, and stress management techniques can help regulate hormones, reduce inflammation, and boost emotional wellness.
      2. Better overall health: By adopting healthy habits before perimenopause, women can significantly improve their physical health and reduce the risk of developing chronic health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis. The risk of each of these conditions greatly increases during the perimenopause.
      3. More control: By taking control of their health before perimenopause, women can feel more empowered and in control of their bodies. Instead of feeling like they are at the mercy of their hormones, they can take an active role in managing their health and well-being. And feel supported having a toolkit of knowledge and self care techniques. Without that knowledge beforehand, perimenopause can sometimes be a scary time when you don’t understand why you are feeling the way that you are, or noticing symptoms appear for the first time in your life.

So, whether you are in your 30s, 40s, or beyond, it’s never too early to start making healthy choices that will support your well-being in the years to come.
